AIRDYNE - HEAVY DUTY BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Hunt Engine designs and manufactures a vast array of blower motor assemblies for most drilling and industrial applications under the trade name AirDyne. In a market flooded with commodity blowers, Hunt Engine AirDyne blower motor assemblies are superior in the market.
Hunt Engine blowers are Class III construction and AMCA certified by one of only a few certified labs in the United States. Our heavy gauge steel wheels and housings are unmatched by any other in the industry and will usually outlast the equipment they are installed on. We also offer the same construction in stainless steel for the most severe marine enviroments. Our primary applications are 10 and 15 horsepower units for most AC and DC drilling motors, but offer units as small as 1/3 horsepower and as large as 60 horsepower for local and remote applications as well as high pressure units for static pressures as high as 50-60 SPWG. We offer complete testing facilities to ensure every AirDyne that leaves our plant is properly sized for the intended application. We have invested in a full scale balometer to generate performance curves for specific applications. In addition to performance testing we also offer sound/noise studies for applications required to meet certain noise restrictions. Hunt Engine offers special sound attenuated AirDyne packages to meet some of these noise restrictions and can custom engineer and fabricate a package to meet a specific need.
Hunt Engine's AirDyne, in addition to their Class III construction and AMCA rating, offer additional engineered features not offered by other manufacturers. These include backward inclined reinforced wheels which allow for pressure variations from remote applications and additional ductwork that would cause other devices to overload. Taperlock bushings are used to provide for easy wheel/motor removal and a unitized blower motor base and wheel assembly allows removal for maintenance without disturbing the housing and associated ducting.
