UNIDYNE - SINGLE-STAGE HEAVY DUTY ENGINE AIR CLEANER
Hunt Engine's UniDyne single-stage engine air cleaner is designed for installation directly on each roots blower of an EMD diesel engine. The UniDyne has two replaceable special pleated paper elements contained in a heavy gauge steel housing and with a filter indicator to advise when element replacement is required. The UniDyne is 99.95 % efficient on standardized fine air cleaner test dust. Unlike oil bath type air cleaners which lose their efficiency at engine speeds lower than the speed and air flow for which they were designed, the UniDyne's efficiency remains constant regardless of engine speed. This feature makes the UniDyne ideal for use with EMD engines and/or marine services driving variable speed drill rig DC generators. The UniDyne engine air cleaner is an ideal replacement for panel, oil bath and fiberglass type filters because of superior performance.
Hunt Engine's UniDyne single-stage engine air cleaner is also available for installation on turbocharged EMD diesel engines.
